I love this one so so much. I LOVE how happy Scully is...she totally "bounds" into the office when she first meets Jay Gilmore (SOMEone got some the night before) and of course her absolute glee with the invisible body. Mulder looks so kind of amused with her, it's sweet. I love it.
And they totally did it the night of the movie. Before credits or after?
I found a good fic you might like: Caprice. I like it for three reasons:
1) Scully is curious about Mulder's 3rd wish. 2) Scully has an in-depth discussion with Jenn. 3) M&S sexytimes involve a discussion about a Celtic myth. While they both stay in character. Very impressive.
The most famous portrayal of a genie in more recent media was the animated genie in the Disney film Aladdin. The genie in that film lists "raising the dead" as a wish he would rather not grant, stating that to do so would result in a zombie-like creature. The djinn in this episode also lightly warns against this, but ultimately grants such a wish, with the consequences promised by Disney's genie.
My favorite genie was James Earl Jones in the Fairytale Theater version of Aladdin... he streams out of the lamp an mega-dramatic and booms at the cowering Aladdin, "HOW DO YOU WISH TO DIE?!"
Aladdin is like, "I don't wish to die!"
And JEJ is all, "Bwah ha ha... Good answer!"
But, yeah, this is an awesome episode and I love Jenn's reaction to the boob-remote and Scully with the corpse.
I love this episode. It's one that I always give to non-philes to watch. It's one of those episodes that I go back and watch when I've had a really shitty day, because Scully in this episode is absolutely FABULOUS.
I love that too. And Mulder seems so amused by her, he's like "I'm so glad we started having sex because if this is what it does to you, you are hilarious."

And Scully is so totally not-Scully in some of this ep, not in a bad way, I love it. She's happy and giggly and CUTE. They are totally doing it.
