Why - since Three Words - has Scully been wearing granny cardigans? WHY? Not attractive at all. I really hate the baby shower, those women are clearly friends of her mother. If Scully were to invite the people she knows, there would be Mulder, Skinner, Doggett and Krycek. And they'd all sit around playing "guess the baby daddy" and spin the bottle. I like this half better than the second for some reason. I think because I cant stand watching any of that Reyes birthing stuff. Cant wait for my post :oP
I love Krycek anytime, but I still dont understand what he's doing anymore. They really turned him into the token bad guy with no real purpose. One minute he wants Scullys baby dead, now he thinks its special (is HE the father?) poor Krycek. I do love the way he rescues M&S though, yay rat-boy!
All the baby stuff just annoys me. What it is, who the baby daddy is, why Skinner suddenly needs to know, I'm not even going to bother with it.

He has Deep and Mysterious Connections to the Conspiracy Underworld, like any good ratboy. He always aspired to carry on CSM's work, and he chooses sides that serve his own interests. Which is why he flip flops. I dunno, I just get SO happy every time he's on-screen, I feel like cheering, "YES! KRYCEK'S BACK!" It's like seeing an old friend again (and a sexy one at that).
How does Scully know these people? No one knows. That baby shower is seriously the most uncomfortable, awkward, WEIRD scene I think Scully is ever forced to be a part of. I'm pretty convinced Mrs. Scully hired all those women, too.
(hell, even Krycek, who apparently had a surveillance tape of M and S doin it according to old Requiem (?) spoilers) What? That's the first I've heard of this! Is that an old fandom rumor, or do we actually know about it for sure?
And as it is the parents to be have little to no scenes together alone. *SIGH* I think some fan once cued up all the Mulder/Scully scenes from S8, and discovered that they share exactly 13 MINUTES of screen time for the entire season. I think that says it all.

I'm pretty sure it was filmed and eventually cut out (just of basically showing the tape in his hands when Krycek was in the car in Requiem; where Scully was in the cabin with Mulder and having gotten sick or whatever). I don't THINK it was just a rumor, but of course, I'm not entirely sure. And of course I make it come across as OMG SEX TAPE, when it really was supposedly a surveillance tape that happened to catch our fearless heroes having some "personal time".

I find it hilarious that Maggie wants to know who the husband is. I'm sure she has a theory :P I mean really. And she just doesn't understand that people are out to hurt Scully and her unborn baby.
Why does Mulder let Doggett call him Fox? And why doesn't Doggett die after calling him Fox when we know the only person who can get away with it is Maggie! LOL
Also, how was Mulder let into the FBI analysis place if he's out of the bureau?

As if Mulder left Scully with KRYCHEK when he wanted to kill her baby before. Are they stupid? I think so. Or maybe it's the plot :P
And where did Agent Crane appear from at the end?? Just out of nowhere... and why would he let them go if he's the same thing as Billy Miles? WHAT IS GOING ON? omg.
I'm really not a fan of Scully's outfits in this ep... ew.
Yeah, this is definitely worse than the turtlenecks! Perhaps the costume design staff were trying to make her look more maternal, which apparently meant frumpy and pastel coloured?
