This is my last episode post guys! I’ll be joining you again sometime in December for IWTB, it is yet to be scheduled, but keep an eye out! And I hope we have a big turn out for The Truth, even if you only want to complain about it like I will be ;o)

Ditto everyone else's comments, particularly as its role as the second last episode. EVER.

I really hate the implication that episodes = cases solved. No way in hell do I believe that to be true. Especially as there were months (?) between the Pilot and Deep Throat, yes? If so, are we supposed to believe M and S sat on their asses and did nothing in that time?

And yes, Scully is hot in this ep, that's the best I can say about it. I love her s9 hair.

Honestly, aside from the Series Finale, this was the only episode I watched in Season 9. I remember a few things, and I haven't seen the episode since:

1. Despite the show being crap after Mulder left, it still kept is good ol' X-Files feel to it, imo. Maybe it was just the production value or something, but it felt like a real X-Files episode and not some cheap knock-off. I'll give it that.

2. ZOMG DR. ANSPAUGH JOHN AYLWARD. I'm an E.R. nerd and love seeing cast members from that show in X-Files and vice versa. D'aww, Skinner Mitch Pileggi Terry Waters got Huntington's! Noooooo! And Amanda Nelligan Christine Cavanaugh Gloria had a 2-year old son and was sitting her daughter's 5-year old son, and the unruly "son" got taken out to the waiting room, followed by a loud "OUCH" and her grandson yelling "Grandma! Grandma! Uncle Charlie bit the nurse!" That line cracks me up EVERY TIME

I like this episode on its own. It's cute and funny and I like the Brady Bunch and it's kind of a cool story. But when I think about where it stands in the series, I get really pissed off. Mainly because Scully just GAVE HER KID UP FOR ADOPTION and now she is smiling and happy and all that bullshit. Argh.
