tell Eric that no one likes him. then, the next day when he's all been worrying about it and shit, sit him down and explain to him that you were 'only joking and you're sure some people like him, just not everybody'. that way, he will only think youre trying to be nice, but, really you aren't... because no one likes him. well, i don't like him.
