I've been really sad about Mike going to Japan next year, mainly because he has just gotten accepted to USAC and there is no doubt that he will get accepted to the school in Hiroshima.

BUT.

I just learned that Mike's mom wants me to go with them to Tokyo for four days before he heads off to Hiroshima.

So I really want him to go now.

The enthusiasm is beginning to wane and I am beginning to realize how thick the layer of anxiety really is. It's absurd to be stressing out the second day of school. The classes I have this semester require a lot more effort than the ones I've had before. I hate it when you neglect someone's presence and don't realize how much you could miss them once they're not around anymore.

Gosh, it hasn't even been one day and I am so dreading going back to my grandmother's empty house.

Does anyone know anyone who has studied abroad through USAC? If you do, their names and contact numbers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
