So this weekend was our 4yr anniversary, and as a present Mel got us Pearl Jam tickets! She's awesome, I know. Only problem is, our friends decided to have their wedding ceremony that night too. So we went to the wedding for about 2 1/2 hours, then ditched out early to get to the concert. (c'mon, priorities)

So the other day I was thinking about how couples tend to eventually tolerate (and sometimes even enjoy) tv shows that their partner watched before the relationship started.  So I saw this again last night with Mel's dad, still great stuff. He really enjoyed it too. The only thing that disappoints me about this movie is the lack of a real villain. I'm at a loss for words on this one. It boggles my mind how this man is still President. One term? Sure, I can understand that.. fool me once, shame on me.. but how the hell did he get re-elected?! We can only hope 2009 will bring better days..

 I just watched Alien vs. Predator: Requiem.. eh, didnt really care for it. The problem with this movie is that they try to add in the 'human factor', but the humans are inconsequential to the story. It doesnt really matter if they live or die, and in fact, I almost preferred if most of them die. I understand the need to have humans there, because ( Read more... )
