formatting isnt THAT big of a deal. ive done it a few times. i will start it around 11, when good TV shows come on, then an hour and a half later when they're over i could usually start reinstalling things and putting it back to its usual self. i formatted my C, and its partitioned, so its only like 14 gigs though. yours will probably take longer.

what i do though is download all essential drivers and program exes and all beforehand and put them in a file on my D drive (burn them if you dont have two drives) and use that to get up to speed. really helps the whole process. especially because going online for ANYTHING before having anti-virus at this point is simpy foolish, remember when Jon reformatted, turned on his computer, got the blaster worm and had to reformat again? then again, you probably knew all this. good luck!
