Horrible as it has been, I've learned some important lessons in the last month.

1. Don't hold grudges. It's just not productive.
2. Always give someone one last chance if they ask for it, unless they've asked for it before.
3. Go for what you really want, but if you can't have it, the next best thing probably ain't too bad.
