I have thought about joining Facebook... but much of what I have heard does not particularly amuse me...

I have no clue what purpose these things might serve. I ignore them, but they are really piling up and they continue to bug me, even if I ignore them.

So, mostly I ignore Facebook now.

There is a button which blocks all requests/invites from a particular application... I used it a lot at first, and now I don't have to.

But I've stopped with those for the most part. Just give some of the ones I still like to people I think might appreciate them. If they stop accepting then I generally stop sending though.

yeah. one of my 11 year old cousins is apparently on Facebook. She's... ummm... obsessed with the Cullens. To the point that her Facebook status was "married", when I asked her about it, she replied "I'm married to Edward!"

I'm thinking that my decision to not breed is actually just me being privy to evolution's plan for my own stunted genetics.

I block all that crap. It's so damned annoying. You can go into your settings and block everything so I don't get those anymore! Hooray!

I can't figure out how to block apps.

I either click on the little link when you get a request that says "block this application" and that eventually gets them all, or in the settings go to Application settings and it's under "authorized" or something like that
