January 24th: The worse day ever and also the kick off my birthday week.
It seems that "experts" have confirmed January 24th the worse day of the year. This conclusion is a result of some equation factoring in all sorts of post holiday trauma. Debt, failure of resolutions, and various other factors that seem to stem from the time it takes for the reality of reality to sink back in after escaping into holiday bliss. Well, I can't have people sinking into depression this week this is my birthday "week" afterall and it is my responsibility to "re"inform people about my party Saturday, January 29th. This is of course shameless and those who figure me too noble a person to type a redundant post are now proven wrong about my character. I am sorry to disappoint you all. Anyway the damage has already been done and the past is certainly nothing to dwell in so let's look to the future. Let's look at Saturday. Let's say 8-9ish atbitfiend 's house. I still got to e-mail some of you directions. I don't know at this time what alcohol will be community available so I say it might be a good idea to bring a good bottle or pack of whatever it is you like. I'm still not quite sure what sort of numbers we are going to be seeing either and I'd rather not get a whole lot if we land just a little over a handful of people. I'm hoping for a modest turn out. If it gets insane well it will surprise the hell out of me, but we will roll with the punches. I look forward to seeing some friends past and present and invites have been placed out to non-LJers that I know many of you know so lets hope they show up. Feel free to bring someone as long as they fit the qualifications that are the M-night staple. No fucktards. Leave your second cousin's room mate on probation for possession and child molestation charges at home under padlock where he belongs. bitfiend was super nice to provide us with a place and I'd like to avoid that. Plus if I'm about policing activities of the "weirdoes" I can't really enjoy my own party. You all understand.
