Rote learning or repetition is learning by memorisation. It doesn't require understanding of the subject matter at hand, merely going over it repeatedly.

Is rote learning really inferior to comprehension? I learned a lot of things by repetition.

All the stairwells in our building at work require we swipe our ID cards to get out onto the floor. If you go in with no ID, you're stuck. Of late, I've really wanted to speak to BJ and Mic. I bought a phone card with the lowest rates for home but only to find out that the reason it's so cheap is because the network's always busy. About that 'last thing', I'm so free right now it's fantastic. Practically no uni commitments at all. Now it's just a matter of staying on top of everything for the next three weeks up to the exams.
Had more or less good week. Work and uni and hanging out.
