I don't want to be here...

Got to work a few hours ago and I've done absolutely nothing. I've got to do some intranet stuff for Marketing but can't be bothered doing that right now. Lemme browse a few more sites...

I've found one can actually get a lot of support apps for LJ. I'm using a Mac client right now called iJournal to write entries from my comp (not from livejournal.com) and it automagically syncs with my mp3 program, getting the details of the song currently playing. That's so cool!
Oh, and UNKLE has a new album coming out...

yeah, the lj client is great. i'm about to buy an imac. any recommendations as to what i should be spending my money on? do you think the dvd writer is worth the extra $600 or what? the processor speed is just about the same, besides, for recreational purposes, i don't think i need a super fast machine. meh... yay for u.n.k.l.e.!

It depends if you really need to use the DVD writer. One of my flatmates has a 17" iMac with the DVD burner but she only really uses it for copying DVDs; and even, I think she's only able to copy DVDs that aren't dual-layer.
Also, by "recreational", I assume you don't mean playing games (as Mac OS X isn't exactly the best gaming platform). If you mean, doing this stuff ie updating your LJ, ripping and burning music, etc, I'd go with an iBook or a 12" PB. They've just been updated as well.
The iMac line hasn't been updated in a while; me thinks their soon due for an update. If you really want an iMac, it might be good to wait a little.
