That sucks, darlin. Nothing worse than getting the boot from the digs. Still with a new salary, you could also look into getting a place anyway. They have lots of options now, including low and no downpayments. I'm a good one to talk at 43 and still dont have a mortgage but theres a method to my madness. Renting is ok, but you're always haunted by the fact it can be only temporary, as, alas, you just found out.... Isn't that always the way? Get more money, spend more money ... whether by design or necessity.

I know you'll decline the offer, and I'm sure you've got helpers lining up already, but know I am at your service. You wouldn't even have to talk to me, except to shout out orders and tell me to be more damn careful.

I hope your new digs are convenient and pleasant, and don't put much of a dent into your new salary. Sometimes change can be for the better.

Damn! Sorry to hear that! I hope you'll be able to find a good place at a reasonable cost.

What the heck, eh? They take in new residents and then kick them out? How nasty mean!

I'm sorry you have to move, but since you're a big shot now, you can afford something awesome. Just think of the possibilities in water pressure!

:D
