I guess it depends on if the conversation was about shit, generically or shit specifically. i.e., REAL shit, or just things? If it was about REAL shit, absolutely, theres never a bad time to talk about shit...lol (said the wastewater plant operator :P)

Actually, that's a pretty sad story. Emotional/mental problems are so hard to deal with, so destructive. The fact that someone could have no one in his or her life to look after her well-being like that is tragic. Maybe she pushed everyone away from her. I hope she got some help. Her boyfriend too. What was going through his mind?
