I just finished making vanilla wafers (which in itself is a neat trick, as the recipe didn't call for any vanilla) for killerjoe's cookie party this evening. If those cookies expand a lot they should be quite a nice handful. They'll just have to bake a little longer. I've seen recipes without vanilla but would add some anyway. Too late now, so I'd recommend you put a couple dabs on your neck and wrists. It couldn't hurt.

I figure they'll just be sugar/butter cookies, which should be tasty as well.

I also realized that I miscounted--I yielded 16 cookies. Which is still not great, but better than 12.

(Wrong crowd for the perfume trick).

I never get as many cookies as you're supposed to on cookie recipies. It's like, they expect you to make tiny little quarter-sized cookies or something!

But you reminded me about Christmas Cookies, which I totally forgot about, and now I'm all excited to come home and have some!
