Last week I decided to deposit a 1k check for this month from this kid's outstanding balance piano lessons fee. I went to another bank and drop the check in the check deposit machine and guess what-- ( Read more... )

Wow, that's quite a nice sum of money.

I learn something new about you every day. But then again I don't really know anything about you anymore.

I miss you!

Wow. And here I am trying to learn Pachelbel's Canon on the guitar and whistling along :) I guess that's the easy one. Dam'ned Bm chord!

Canon's such a hard piece of play on guitar! I have high respect for those who can pull it out nicely ;)

pull it off nicely? I'm better able to pull peace out of the corpse of Isreal. Easy chords, but an insane bugger to play.

I like how the only two discernible errors in this comment could be considered clever innuendo. Observe:

Corrected version: Canon's such a hard piece to play on guitar! I have high respect for those who can pull it off nicely ;)

Lewd version: Canon's such a hard piece of play on guitar! I have high respect for those who can pull it out nicely ;)

I apologize for getting all this gutter water into your journal. My brain's gonna take a while to dry off.

someone obtained wind chimes for my dad. when the wind blows right, they play Canon in G. it's a little bizarre, but it works, mostly. kind of like playing all the harmonious notes of the chords of your favorite song. it works because you're familiar with it.

not to clog your entry with a ludicrous comment, but case in point: this morning i was having a dream that i was naked in a small town in europe that was undergoing nuclear winter, and simultaneously outside my window a truck rumbled by whose brakes / horn / exhaust sounded like the beginning of the reprise of a song from the amelie soundtrack, so the song started playing clear as day within the dream. it was coming from the shambles of a house nearby among grapevines and barbed wire.

that's a hell of a lot of money for piano lessons. good for you. ^__^
