I talked to Mike at US Xpress last night...I left him a msg during the day and he called me back once he got to work...he said it's "all but final"...i guess it's just corporate red tape...he said when they called Friday it wasn't final, just close...so he said to expect to hear something by week's end...i just hate having that kind of expectation ( Read more... )

I got a phone call Friday from Progressive tell me I didn't get the job. Almost, but a guy from Dalton moved up from that office and took this job. Anyways. so at this time US Xpress is moving around current personnel to fill the position that was more or less mine...awesome...but the guy said he'd keep in touch and i'd be the first to know if they have another vacancy...knowing USX, that could be in a month or a year...who knows...i've never been THAT close to having a new job and then not get it...
