Piano: A
English: A
Ecology: B
Speech-Public Speaking: A
Philosophy-Ethics: A
Human Sexuality: A

I know I should be pleased, but I'm really, really bothered by the B. I could have easily gotten an A, but instead I kept fucking around and thinking I could just make it up later. That's going to fuck up my GPA for the rest of college.

That's great Mikayla! And wow, you had 6 classes...impressive.

I do know what you mean though. I don;t know how I did yet, grades aren't out, but I have a feeling it will be less well than I would like, especially chemistry. I had to take it, but since for me it was a review class I could not get myself motivated and ended up making stupid mistakes and doing much poorer on tests than I probably should have. I will probably be paying for it. -.-

Well, my girlfriend, Carley, made me feel better when she said that if I'd gotten straight A's, I would have felt really stressed and pressured to always get straight A's. Now I can relax a little bit and not be too upset about a B in the future.

I like chem. I have to take a science with a lab, and I'm considering chemistry. The guidance counselor raised his eyebrows at me and said in thirteen years, he's never had a sociology major take chemistry. :) Did you take it for an animal-related major?

That's actually very true. I got Bs when I took German at Saddleback during high school so I thought my GPA was already screwed up and I was able to relax a little bit. I just hope I get one A, or at least not straight Cs. ;-;

Yeah, chem can be really nice. It's relaxing to do problems, especially balancing equations. I always loved the puzzle of solving/balancing a redox equation. Yeah, I'm taking it for either:
biology with a concentration in animal behavior or
neuroscience and behavior.

Chem really is good, except for the occasional problem you just cannot remember/figure out how to solve. For me I just felt frustrated that I had to "take a class over". Go for it! Chem lab was my favorite class this semester. There's just something relaxing about doing crap with beakers and test tubes. :P
