After Years of seeing it in magazines, hearing it from first timers, and dreaming about it, I've experienced one of the most momentous and moving experiences of my life.

I am ready to cheer, clap, yell, smile and perhaps cry. On Thursday comes an end to essential fixtures in the childhood of two generations. The generations after can experience it through DVDs or whatever medium the future holds but none can say that they "lived" the experience.
