Lol! Really should read before I write (a sentiment ALL sue writers must endeavor to achieve). I thought it said "Who created the sentinels?" ^_^

And to answer your question (which I thoroughly read, lol). The Sue author wants their character (the avatar of the author) to be the center of the[ir] grand adventure. And who is at the center of the adventure? Why the hero, of course. So, dear Sue here, becomes the messiah of the tale, whom all must depend on for life and limb, in order to save the day--without much consideration to thirty-some-odd years of canon history of the X-Men. And about four years of movie history.

The woman wore a long black cape, with a midnight black dress that fell to the floor. She held two shiny daggers in her hands. Her face was pale, she had dazzling blue eyes that made you shiver and look away. Her black hair fell upon her face lazily, water dripped from the ends of her hair, onto the floor. It was stringy and unattractive.

And this...is supposed to be Dark Phoenix? The odds of a Sue author just coming up with the name "Dark Phoenix" for an X-Man villain are pretty darn slim, so if she just heard the name, why wouldn't she look up who it was? And how could she possibly miss that it was Jean? (or a Phoenix Force-y duplicate, whichever) Did she just think, "Hey, this is a way kewl name and no one reads those dumb comics so they'll never know?" Why am I even asking?

Argh.

Oh, but who cares about all that silly comic book nonsense? With a totally kewl name like Dark Phoenix, she HAS to be a super awesome pseudo-goth cape-wearing hawt mama in lots of black! With sharp pointy knives 'cause they're OMG so neat! The description reminds me a bit of Samara/Sadako, actually. o_O This Sue will kill you in seven days.

Doesn't it make your head hurt to think about how they're going to pull off the Phoenix story in movieverse, though? And since they already squished Mastermind, the poor bastard, he can't do his thang and mess with Jean's head to make her all REAL Dark Phoenixy. (Or am I screwing up my comic knowledge again? o_O)

Eh. I don't count that poseur as the real Mastermind. Or maybe they're gonna work Jean's death and his death together ... and still use his mind fuck thing to mess her up, to make her Dark Phoenix. Who knows. No matter what happens, X3 will spawn even more horrible Sues for me to hunt down and kill.
