i think trying is just a part of life. and its a big part of it. especially in school. but basically you have to try to achieve things so that you feel good about yourself. you may not really feel like it at the time and maybe you dont get that feeling and then its kind of like karma like if you do this now youll get cool stuff later. like a degree?

That's an interesting point. I don't really know why people do things they don't want to do. At some points we do things we HAVE to do, just to appease people around us. Once we're out on our own, then the whole "responisibility" factor comes into play, and you can do what you want ALL the time and end up a poor burn-out, or you can balance all the things you have to do with ones you want to do
