Sherlock puzzle.
Ok. I figured out the mystery of how Sherlock survived the fall at the end of the Reichenbach Fall.
It's all in Scandal.
There's a document displayed over Sherlock's bed and they say in the commentary that Sherlock knows an ancient Japanese martial art and that's what that document indicates. Then the next morning from that scene, John is reading the ( Read more... ) -

Ugh. I suppose after not drinking any milk for about four years, it's understandable that my stomach would protest after I downed a glass of chocolate milk all of a sudden.

Besides having a bit of a gag-fest last night (from the dry air of the house), around 2AM, a helicopter was hovering overhead for what seemed like forever.
Got very broken night of "sleep" as a result.
Just found out there was a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian which resulted in a death a block or so away.
Yikes.

At some point in the middle of the night, I stuck a Ricola in my mouth to keep from coughing my lungs out. And then I fell back asleep.
When I woke up at my more regular time, I felt a hard cube rolling around in my mouth, and totally thought a tooth had fallen out.
Really a bizarre way to wake up. -

Sunday's paper didn't arrive on Sunday morning. We only get the Sunday paper, so we feel a little bereft without it. I contacted them on Sunday morning and told them we want the paper and I got an acknowledgment email from them, so I figured, great! We'll get the paper after all ( Read more... ) -

I worked on knitting this thing for months, starting last year, finished up the knitting bit and I'm completely stumped by the construction of this thing. I had to put it down a few months ago because it was starting to really stress me out. The plan was, that I would give it another go once I had time in the summer. Switched to Firefox 5 yesterday. Kinda reeling at the changes. I generally like the changes, just having trouble finding little things...like the reload button. Took me a while to realize it's not a button. But I changed it to MAKE it a button!
Still, though. I feel I'm still fumbling. I keep opening links in new windows, instead of new tabs -
