Dustin's gone...my little side kick is gone!

It kills me that I wasn't with him when it happened. Dr. King just told me that he took a turn for the worse early this morning and he passed away about an hour ago. I wish he would've called me, it's not like I could get any sleep last night worrying about him!

I'm going out to look at possibly applying at a school out in troy. I have to be there at 11, but I'll stop by on my way home. I'll call when I'm on my way maybe we can do a late lunch or something.

I know all too well what its like ot lose a great pet. laurie as well. call me at anytime if you wan to rant or cry or whatever you're feeling.

I already miss him too. I wish I could have gotten to know him better.

Thanks Steve! It's been a rough day and I'm still in disbelief that he's not coming back. I can say it, but I'm not sure if I believe it just yet.

it just becomes so normal to have them around and then when they're not, everything just seems strange, it's the little things that I think make it so hard

Definitely! I never thought that I would miss the growling, begging everytime I eat anything, or getting up between 5 - 6 a.m. to let him outside...but I do! I miss it all!

Thanks Dennis! I know you don't have much time with your dogs, but I suggest spending as much time as you can with them because who knows what will happen tomorrow! We definitely get attached to our dogs and it just sucks that Dustin's gone, but I have to believe that he's in a better place now!
