I am so glad I wasn't the only one to see the Gum Drops/ Heroes connection! the voiceover thing is what did it.

Yes! All kinds of crossovers because there are people all over the country! At least right now.

I was thinking that Gil would be disbelieving at first--openminded to the idea that there was a scientific explanation, but not so much about the supernatural. I wouldn't be surprised if Gil pulled out a colloquial understanding of Japanese from his hat, though.
