I would call your municiple building first to check on registering. It might be easier for you and them if you register *at* the polls on election day. (It's what I'm going to end up doing because even though I moved in June, I'm lazy and haven't gotten to register yet.)

I already did call, they told me I had to go register at City Hall up til a day before voting. Meeeeeh.
