A Year in Review

A few things on my mind...
1.) Starting on January 3rd, I will be moving in with my parents. Sort of. For student teaching, I was placed at my old high school, which is an hour and a half away from where I'm currently living. What a Week!
This week was absolutely brutal. Monday I took my history content exam, one of my steps toward becoming a certified teacher. After studying for two months (yep, that's why it has been so quiet around here), I felt ready enough to take the exam. I went into the test with confidence and left in tears, convinced I had failed. A Few Thoughts on Life
My parents came in to visit this past weekend. Per tradtion we ate at Abuelo's, an amazing Mexican food restaurant that the whole family has become enamored with, where we gorge ourselves on chips and salsa, talk, laugh, and bemoan the unhealthiness of our individual meals.
