And then tomorrow is Book Expo America in NYC. Yay for Book week! -
Fun filled book week!
So the last week of May is going to be dedicated to BOOOKS! I am planning to attend the City of Heavenly Fire event on the release day in Wellesley and planning to go to BookCon in NYC. I am still debating on going to Book Expo America. I definitely need a vacation before the summer in Amherst with the students. -

So, I haven't posted an entry for awhile. What you have missed since May is me working at Hampshire College during the summer time for the residential component of the UB Summer Academy, Tito and I going away to Burlington, Vermont for an amazing 4 day trip and HP events in Salem for October! -
Time for a New Start!
My new landlord decided to tell all the tenants that they must vacant the apartments by May 31. I guess it's time for a new beginning somewhere else. Maine and a bit of New Hampshire!
So, last week I went on a mini much needed vacation. Tinh, Tito and I decided to do a mini Diners, Drive-ins and Dives type of trip. After work on Thursday, I ended going to Portsmouth,NH for Gilly's. I got me a yummy chili burger. Food there was quite good even though it was simple. Ascendio and more!
So, I finally attended my first HP con. Can I say it was AMAZING! Absolutely AMAZING! SO amazing that I will be attending Misti-Con in Laconia, NH next year. Thanks to sugareeyfor convincing me to attend this years HPEF convention. I LOVED IT! This year Ascendio took place at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios. New Start
So, it's been 6 months or so since I got the new job at the college. I quit Lobelia's, finally! I'm planning to move into my own apartment soon! And, I'm feeling pretty good about it. 2 Years and Onward
So it's been about two years since I graduated and I only have a part-time job at my old high school job. I quit the magazine because of personal reasons and ended up working at an internship from February to last week. I was "laid off" from the internship due to budget cuts.
