Despite the fact that I have an effin' cold, I feel emotionally better. I spent the weekend at my parents place. They decided to take the house off the market, as it has been six months now. They will endeavour to sell it themselves. I feel bad to admit that I feel reassured by this. I don't want to loose my family home. At least not now

If you liked the Gap, try Banana Republic as well, it's the same company so the sizing should be roughly the same. Banana is more expensive, but their clothes are also better quality than the Gap.

Re dogs: that's why I figured you would like that park. You get to see and pet a bunch of different dogs without having to own one :)

One thing I've learned is you can never judge where you can shop and how big you are by sizes. I'm anywhere from a 2-8, and in Europe I'd be a 10-12. So you gotta just go into stores and try stuff, and the numbers don't matter.

I find that parks that allow dogs tend to be over run, because they aren't as common as you would think. Pat and I had a hell of a time finding a place we could take Maddie until the local park changed it's rules to allow dogs after 8pm.
Oooh! I should give Gap a shot then. I have such a hard time finding pants that fit me properly. Either the thighs are too tight, or the waist is gapping. Usually I get my jeans at Blue Notes, but I find that they haven't been great lately.
