LOL! My brother's dog, Max, likes to run from us, too. My dad has a have a fence now so it doesn't happen as often, but if he gets out, it can take forever to get him back. You basically have to ignore him because he'll run if you try to approach him. Luckily, his 2 weaknesses are car keys (or anything shiny) and having to take a crap when he gets excited. haha.
she's sooo fast it's like a blur. She'll run though in our yard and do like laps around you but she'll get tired and the laps will get smaller and smaller so she'll just eventually get caught. If you go towards her she'll keep going away but if you go away she'll come after you. She's such a nut.
