Last week, I took to the cleaners this pair of jeans I picked up at Alter Ego (back when Joanna and her wares were still on Fry Street)  They're awesome...faded as all hell, paint splotches all over, bell bottoms at that.  This is my current favorite pair of jeans.  They fit fairly tight.  Some of you may have seen me at Hailey's or on Fry Street ( Read more... )

Before the winter break I got called in only twice by the school district, and both on days when they had lots of teachers out for workshops and things of the sort.  The substitute sign-in sheet was packed both days.  This past Monday was the first day of the school semester here, and I was called in to substitute a Pre-K class.  I was only one of ( Read more... )

When I first came to Bridgeport, in August/Early September, I applied with the local school district to substitute teach. At first, I waited a couple weeks, and got nothing.
