Wow, you gave me flashbacks to my ex's extended family with that story. His sister and brother-in-law were both correctional officers last I heard (Texas Department of Criminal Justice), and the brother-in-law was supplying the ex with a steady supply of pot, while the sister had to list her maiden name when she got hired on at the prison because apparently her hubby owed money to some of the inmates. And the lots of kids thing is reminiscent of several uncle stories bastardboy told me. Makes me wonder how many kids he has now...
Go you for breaking out of that pattern. You can't control how much sex drive you have, but you can control what you do about it, something more guys need to figure out.
Awwww...thanks Bonnie. For shits and giggles, take the Ghenghis Khan test I linked in the post. Eviedently, in 32 generations there'll be over 700,000 copies of my Y chromesome running around.
Sorry I left in the middle of our conversation last night. My parents have dial-up, and it's a bitch sometimes.
Anyway, having read the entire post in one sitting, I fucking hate when people say that someone is trying to act a skin color. Doing so ignores other factors such as environment. It ignores individual responsibility, too.
Oh, dial-up, huh? I thought you left the convo because I was talking about catching Bjork live and you were envious ;-)
But yeah...as far as ethnicity goes, its cetrainly a part of who I am, there's no denying that. Still, there's more to a person than that; I'd rather not have my lineage be what defines me.
