Loud humpers were at it again early this morning between midnight and 1AM. Dane was so pissed off, I rarely see him that upset. He got up and was pacing around our living room because he was livid. We both had some trouble falling back asleep.

Seriously, what can we possibly do to shut them up that won't start a war? We are desperate.

Wow, I actually am having a day where I don't feel awful (stupid sinuses), don't feel sad for no good reason, and don't absolutely despise being at work. I guess this a good time to update ( Read more... )

Today around lunch time Dane is dropping off my application, resume and bid form for a job that I want so bad I can taste it at a local university. This university is so incredibly difficult to get into, but I want this so bad. I thought I wanted the Borders job, but now I realize I didn't want it as fiercely as I want this position. I also need for my dad to get a call saying that there is the perfect job out there for him too so that he can be happy.

Hope you all had a happy Halloween.

We made it back in one piece. We had fun, went to the Second City and had a fun flight.

Yesterday we gave out candy at my brothers. We also gave an Elvis C.D. to a girl too old to trick or treat, dressed like Elvis. It's a funny story, but right now I am dizzy as hell so I am going to end this...now.

Dane's stepdad has his pilots liscense. He has had it for a few years now, and he also has his own small plane. Today he is coming to pick Dane and I up in his plane and fly us to Chicago to visit with them for the weekend and then he is flying us back on Sunday. During the past two days, Dane has carved a pumpkin a night; one of Chauncey Billups and the other of three random monsters. He really impressed me, they are awesome. They look like the awesome pumpkins that you see on the credits for sitcoms and Halloween shows, very impressive.

From 9-5 Monday through Friday, I am not content, not even close. The rest of the time, I am pretty much at peace. That can only mean one thing...time to get serious.
