i really like joey harrington and think he's going to do a really good job qb'ing for the lions this year, but i'm really excited they just signed Timmy Chang, Hawa'ii's old QB. i like the way chang "tosses the pigskin." but i don't like "pigskin" cuz i'm vegan like that....sukaz

there's something special about your affinity toward joey, but at this point i feel like the qb lineup in the silverdome should be 1-garcia, 2-chang, 3-harrington. then again, maybe we have the next john elway on our hands.
i think we should be the biggest lions fans in this city, buy a williams jersey (whomever) from the local sports apparel store on east ohio st. and complain with letters and phone calls every time the local fox affiliate doesn't show our dear silver and gold.

jeff garcia is a completely dead quaterback as far as the nfl goes. in the two preseason games so far, he's done very little except make bad decisions over and over and make one good pass to chuck, burning a 2nd or maybe even 3rd string defense for the cleveland browns.
those browns let him go after one year of a five year contract and it certainly wasn't cuz of a "franchise quaterback" waiting in the wings. he was just that bad.

anyhow, how much does a jersey cost there. and what do you mean by "our dear silver and gold." don't you mean honalulu blue and silver?

haha, thanks for the indepth analysis on garcia. all i hear is steeler news and the rest is box scores, pretty much. i totally meant silver and blue- must've been thinking about stavesacre or rudolph the red-nosed reindeer or something like that.
