Disclaimer: I am a girl.
I read "The Other Boleyn Girl" by Philippa Gregory like I had impending blindness. I also just read "Mirror Mirror" by Gregory Maguire (he wrote "Wicked"). That was very good.
"How to Make Love Like a Porn Star" by Jenna Jameson was also a book I couldn't put down. Who knew I'd dig an autobiography so much. It was riveting.
Let me know if you have any recommendations as well... I have 2 9.5 hour flights ahead of me in the past 2 weeks and I can't sleep on airplanes!!

I LOVED "The Other Boleyn Girl"... couldn't put it down. Right now I'm halfway through another of her books, "The Virgin's Lover." I doubt either of them are really up Steve's alley, however.

I was going to write the exact same thing. Steve, I once read one of his ENTIRE novels IN ONE NIGHT. I couldn't put it down! This guy is a genius.

"Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides, author of "The Virgin Suicides." It's about a hermaphrodite. It's not fun in the "Geek Love" sense but I thought it was riveting.
I'm trying to finalize what I'm reading for the shore. I have a few options. Unfortunately, Don DeLillo hasn't released anything.
