Brian has once again inspired me, which is his job.

haha! Do you know what's more annoying than people who type that shit? People who speak it. Our big fat music director actually speaks "L.O.L., J.K" and many other retarded Instant Message abbreviations. As if I didn't already want to hurt him because he's far too ridiculous for me.
What-ev.

You beat me to the comment about a certain person who says "JK." I can understand abbreviating something in print but not in speech. Is it so hard to say "just kidding"? Or instead of saying LOL, how about ACTUALLY LAUGHING OUT LOUD, which is the whole point. Instead of frowning the next time someone does this in person, I'm going to draw an emoticon and hold it up. Or I'll just tell him, "STFAOIGTKY."*

*Stop the Fucking Abbreviations or I'm Going to Kill You

I used to do these in text messages to get them out speedily. I am guilty of that. But I have never done those in AIM or emails, because you have this lovely little keyboard that is easy enough to type out full words. Text messaging is a little more irritating, plus you have a limit of how many letters you can use. But since I got my new phone with its lovely QWERTY keyboard, I am abbreviation free.

I am guilty of "prolly". That's more or less because I say it that way.
