So I rode one of the young thourobreds last sun. at the lake. She and I got along great and there was only one time when she wanted to run off and I was able to keep her under control

lessee, been a while since I had the official lessons with all the good advice and stuff, but maybe I can remember some for you... 1)breath. seriously, air helps. 2)jello-butt. try to make your butt as relaxed and squishy as jello. 3)mini-posting. when bareback on a really bumpy horse, sometimes it's easier to do like mini-posts than to try to actually sit.
Also, they make these things called helmets. They're for people who might fall off a horse and hit their head. ;)
Oh, and Angel is really cute with the stopping and making sure you're ok.
yeah, we only have the one helmet and Nell was wearing it. I didn't know I was going to fall off. I honestly wouldn't have had any problems if not for the lack of stirrups. more practice for me!
