have you ever been so much into a relationship that you love someone? but then you break up and after a while, when the commotion of  the breakup is long gone, you realize you never loved them like you thought? this has happened to me several times...its like you are so caught up in all of the excitement of the relationship that you have convinced

you know what catherine?? you sound genuinely happy...really. maybe things that have happened...recently and not so recently happened because both of us as friends needed them to. i've said this before, but we in general are always going to be some sort of friends...that's just the way we are...and this year has been proof of that so far. however, both of us getting other friends...other close friends and relying on other people has been good for us.--and as strange as it sounds, us "growing apart" has probably been one of the best things that could have happened for us...we needed to grow up, and it just wasn't happening...and now that it is i think we can finally be ourselves and find ourselves; figure out where we fit in...try new things

you are so right. we are growing apart and it is for the best. but i am glad that we will always be friends even if we aren't within 5 feet of each other all the time...high school has done us good. we are going out on our own and being our own people and its kinda freeing in a way...we are being who we are supposed to be instead of being mirror images of each other.. we are discovering that we are different, and that we think differently about things and have different views, and i like it...i like it because we are finally growing up like you said...and you are right, we are finding different people to rely on, and i do rely on DM..i rely on him a lot, and trust me i am not going to let it go..its too great of a relationship, i know that there are people out there who would be happy to have what i have, and i am very grateful for him, like you said high school relationships are fickle and most of them dont last, but i am just glad that i was able to realize that he is what i wanted and needed...i will hang on...for dear life...TRUST
