Me neither plus I'm going through that "OH WOW A NEW TOY" phase with the Pokemon fandom, so I just need some time to settle down about that and then maybe I can actually get back IN to the Hetalia fandom and stuff.

It's a relatively small 9-12 high school with ~850 kids, but it's always good to have friends I know I can talk to comfortably in all my classes.

Thanks! Our school offers a driver's ed program, and if you're 15 years old by a certain date, you're allowed to take it and receive your learner's, whereas anyone not taking it with the school wouldn't be able to get their learner's until they were 16. I miss lunch, but that's okay, I'll be getting driving experience sooner (for where I live, not knowing how to drive is a huge hinderance).

I have been in that phase for a long time. I just have been forcing myself to check LJ for the last few months. It's good to have friends in the early year. For me personally, it was harder to make friends once I got into intermediate and senior year. Most people already made friends by that time. I didn't really care since I was/and still am the type who was/is contend to only have 2-3 friends. but when we needed to form group for assignment, they tend to stick to the friends they already made. So make friends early when you can. They come in real handy during assignments and team works time.

Well, the thing is I don't play nice with group work; if the other kids don't have close to the same marks as me or I can't count on them to do a good job, I'll do the whole load of work myself. My friends are pretty much the same way, ensuring that we're always in groups together so we can all get a mark we like.
