Took me all of 5 minutes to wait then gas up. To make it all better the only gas left was 93 which is what the Scooby uses, which means all the Hondas ( Read more... )

They want you to worry so you go and buy more gas... get it? We aren't running out there's nothing to worry about. The way they handled this price jump was terrible, they might as well have come on TV and said "THE END IS NEAR BUY ALL THE GAS YOU CAN CAUSE WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE OIL!!!" The terrorism thing isn't scaring anymore so they are using this disaster as a way of bolstering their grip on what Americans think and do. Just wait in about a month things will start returning to normal, paranoia does wonders for the economy believe it or not.

actually, you're a moron.

nc is cutting off all gas sales after 12 tomorrow. chapel hill and raleigh won't be getting any more gas for a week. the saudi's have decided not to give us any more gas. period.
seeing as how that's our main supply, you can imagine what that is going to do to not only your personal car, but to the over all economy. va. has cut off gas sales as of midnight tonight. all shell stations are closing. gas in chapel hill is over four dollars a gallon untill they bag all the pumps. charlotte has already had a large problem with gas syphoning. once they start selling gas, it's going to be capped, meaning you can only buy a certian amount at a time. just fyi

As gas, I'm lucky enough to work where car dealers, long haul truckers and people that deal with gas companies in general stop in all the time. The general consensus, we're no where near running out of gas. Gas stations closed because people panicked from rumors yesterday and that in a few days all will be fine. Gas trucks were already doing routine deliveries this morning on my way to work. All the smaller stations around here have plenty and for cheap, and in an interview one said "there's no reason to raise my prices, the gas I have now has been in my tanks for several days and we're not going to run out anytime soon." Basically it's mass hysteria that's causing massive price gouging and the shortage of gas. Reports went out all over the place on TV and radios saying "There's no shortage of gas, there's no reason to run to the pumps, gas will still be here in the morning." Despite the fact that the Saudi's may have stopped giving us gas, Bush has ( ... )
