I cannot say how much I love / admire / worship gyzym 's "I've Got Nothing To Do Today But Smile" a.k.a. the Coffee Shop AU, and I honestly hope my drawings do it justice.

I hope what I've drawn can sufficiently convey the scenes / atmosphere of the story,

Oh my god, I just. I need you to understand that I am having a SHIT DAY, a completely shit day, the shittiest day ever to shit and i don't even have time to be on the internet right now but I'm here anyway because these are honestly so beautiful I want to cry.

Just, in the first one--your use of color, the texture variants, the shading on Arthur's hair and suit--it comes together so gorgeously, so cohesively, that I don't even know what to say. And you know how much I loved the draft, but the look on Eames' face, the stubble, the way Arthur's leaning on the counter, just, augh. And the third one is so adorable, just exactly how I pictured it but chibified and perfect amazing, and

Awww~~~ I'm so glad you like them, and I hope they make your day better! I'm pretty much having a shit period in my life right now and reading the fic just made me feel understood, idk how you do that but you do, through Arthur's character.

I do love the second pic too. As i told you, I drew the first before reading, and the second one just popped into my mind when I was reading that part, and it's a great compliment to know that I've drawn what you imagined. I actually had another one for the morning after scene, with a huge pink elephant in the background and it'd be hilarious but alas, too much studying and other shit.

Maybe I'll go reread the domestic!verse and see if I can come up with anything! *wink*

Wow, we do have quite a lot in common :D While Evan is my favourite I like Johnny too. And I pretty much grew up watching various Russian skaters, so my love for Mother Russia is strong too ;)
