This. This. This! This was beautiful. God I loved it! The way you moved from the story of Achilles to Dean. My God your writing is amazing! Poor Cas. He sees the end in Dean's eyes, death and despair as it was in Achilles' eyes and it breaks him. And poor Dean. He's already broken. That was lovely dear. Damn awesome fic. I'm definitely favoriting this one.
