oh, how lovely and bittersweet this is. I was so excited to see that you has posted this, as I always wondered about Cas and who he was from the first story. This did not disappoint in any way, shape or form. You have such a clear, clean style that just brings the reader into the story and the images it invokes is really amazing. I would read anything from you, even original characters, you are that good. I am always amazed by the AUs that writers come up with and how they tie them into the SPN universe. Dean started the process of Cas coming back to himself, but its when Cas focuses his love for another that his healing begins in ernest. An angel in human form. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing this with us.

This was perfect.I think that you perfectly complimented the other fic with Dean's point of view,I thought that Dean's point of view was beautiful before but now that I have read this from Cas's point of view I realise that Dean's point of view was missing something (not completely certain what but Cas's pov + Dean's pov = FANTASTICALLY!BEAUTIFUL!)and Cas's pov just added a whole other aspect to this au.

The way you wrote Castiel's past was absolutely beautiful, and I adore the little parallels to the actual canon storyline.
