radiohead is slowly consuming my brain

It's been one of those weeks. The slow-motioned events that seem to just drift along as planned until you look back and reflect on what actually happened, what people said, and what the hell you realized. The past few months have been enchanting and bewildering and wonderful. I hope I'm changing for the better; but can people really change that ( Read more... )

The only thing that seperates us from each other are our fingerprints (I am just the right age to be a cynic)

I see. Damn, I think my period of jadedness (not a word) started at about age 17. Flipped my world around; I'm completely different come to think of it. My whole argument is now obvious. People can and do change.

I think you can be amazed at how much people change, whether it be over night or over a period of years. We fear it for absolutely no reason except for the fact that change is unknown to us and most people are terrified of what they don't know.

Too young to be jaded? Hmmmmm, depends what has happened in your life I guess. You could be a jaded 5 year old if life dealt you the right cards (or wrong for that matter).

Yeah, I think you're absolutely right. But, do people have the capabilities to return to what they used to be? (Rhetorical).

Even if people had the ability to seemingly return to how they once were, the events shaping their lives in the interim would make them undeniably different. Being jaded just fills in the spaces between feeling valid.

Right. You're exactly right. Being jaded isn't so bad; it seems to keep things in check.

People change.... your changing, whos to say its for better or for worse it's you.... if things seem transient hold on to whats good and make it last, or at least milk the cituation and learn. change is directly related to learning, the more you learn and understand the more you change. nothing is constant, (except thoughts and dreams, and once in a blue moon a feeling) people are scared of people changing because it reminds them they have to change, and because sometimes people change so much they forget what they used to believe in, what you belive in can not be forgotten. When it is, you begin to change unknowingly and uncontrolablly, people end up lost souls. hold on to your dreams..... a lot of time they are all you have.... be aware of the change and know what is happening it is the only way you will survive it......

love adi

Interesting. I think you're right, there's really no stopping time and the inevitability of changes occurring. Entropy is a bitch. But, I hope we always remain close in some sense of the word.
