I don't blame you for being confused, but I agree that he is making you this way. You need to tell him what you are feeling and let him take it as he wishes. Don't be afraid to upset him cuz that might be all he needs to move on. However, if you are afraid of upsetting him, maybe you care about him more than you think. Not to confuse you more though...=/.
