I was squinting at the television today; my mom told me to be careful, or my face would stick that way.
I hate myself for what I did, not who I am.

I'd rather my face be stuck than blur that line.

My dad was most adamant on me always establishing reciprocities. He’d say things like, "Collin, remember The Golden Rule." And, "Do on to others, son." Assuming I’d finish the rest of his sentence. I never did because I don’t like it when people finish mine. It was logical. It made sense.

+ Demand respect from others; I'm sick of being a pushover.
+ Set aside more time for my family.

+ Write more. A lot more. I haven't been excercising my creativity nearly as much as i should.

I'm in a really good mood today. It's New Years Eve. I don't drink, so I don't really get as excited as my friends do about tonight. I just hope this evening is fun and that nothing gets too out of hand. Everyone better be safe, you hear?
