Well as much as it sounds like your new life is unpleasant, it sounds far better than basic.
As someone who has been quite concerned with your eating habits in the past (no secret there) I have to say that I am less concerned now. Joining the army you are bound to lose weight. Period. I hear the food sucks and you exercise constantly. You know that if you don't eat you have no energy, and with no energy you can't do all the things they make you do, so that is that.
I'll tell you right now, the Basic food is about the best you'll get till you get down range. As to her not having much of an apatite at Huachuca, it's the combo of another new place, higher altitude, and more heat. Thats how it goes. Nickie, keep doing what you're doing, don't let them fuck w/ you if it bugs you, tell them so. That's the only way to establish yourself in anyway. As to your run in w/ the LTC, don't fret over it. You'll see some that don't care if you don't salute, and others who are TO anal about it. It's another thing in the army you have to get used to. Once you're done with training, you'll be through the hard part.
