Who: Hayate, Signum, and anyone who decides to visit.
What: Hayate gets visitors! But what happens when they recognize her guardians as their enemies?

In the hallway, Simon consulted a small piece of paper with a number written on it. After determining that he was at the right place, he put the paper away.

It wasn't easy after all the EDF had gone through in recent weeks, but Simon made sure he appeared cheerful. He thought it would do Hayate a lot more good to see her friend upbeat rather than troubled. He then knocked on the door.

"Hey, anybody in there? If so, you've got guests!"

Hearing the knock on her door, she half-expected it to be Shamal back from her errands. Marking the page in her book and closing it in her lap, she looked toward the door; "Come in."

She was surprised, however, to see who was there, her face brightening up despite being a bit pale. "Simon!"

Nia followed Simon, carrying a tray of cookies which she set beside Hayate's bed. "Hello, Hayate. These are for you, if it is all right with the doctor for you to have them."

"Hey!" Simon replied, walking into the room. "I'd just called the book store and they told me you were here. So I thought I'd pay you a visit." He walked over to the night stand by Hayate's bed and set a "Get Well Soon" card on it.

"Oh, and...I mentioned I'd be stopping by, and, well..." Simon motioned toward the door of the room. "We've got ourselves a bit of an entourage here."
