Wow livejournal, it's been a super long time since I wrote, so much has happened.

Let's see, the biggest thing is my Dad's passing. I think it was march or april when he had surgery and they found a bunch of little tumor spot things all over and said there was really nothing that could be done. From then he went downhill pretty quickly, he mostly ( Read more... )

Oh life, how swiftly you float by before I even notice you. I look back to see your hours and days and minutes drop off into oblivion, crashing into the ever rising pool of my memory.

Oh my, so much to say.

Honduras was amazing, we built latrines, but we accomplished so much more than just that. We worked with the villagers, we played with the kids, we prayed together, we sang songs to each other, we demonstrated community, and most of all we loved each other. I have had a fantastic couple of days! I lived in Fremont for the second half-week, and it is GLORIOUS. It is just so peaceful and it smells delicious up there. I love waking up in the morning with no worries and nothing to do. I make myself a latte and sit in the sun and listen to the birds, and it's just the best. I really really really like the people I work with. We just have so much fun, and now I even hang out with them outside of work. It seems like i've had a lot of adventures lately, which makes me really happy. Mostly I've just been snowboarding a lot, I went to Cabre Fae with Ben and Sarah, which was kind of an ordeal, but fun none the less.
