I had posted on here a few posts back about my grandma and how sick she was from her cancer. Well I am so so glad I was able to see her when I returned home from Egypt. She passed away Friday night and I'm still kind of in shock over it. Only in the fact, that I now have one grandparent left. Never again will I go in her house and see her ( Read more... )

So this will probably be my last day of internet before my return in 4 days. Theres only a 3 hour workday tomorrow because its the eve of Ramadan or something, and Thursday I'm not supposed to use my phone and such in respect to their culture for the first day or something wild, though I'll still find some way to text my lady ( Read more... )

My grandma has been sick for the last 2 weeks or so. She has been in CCU, ICU, every unit you can imagine. Fluid had surrounded her heart and they had to remove it through a tube, almost 400ml. On top of that they had found a spot on her lung and had a pulmonologist come in to check things out ( Read more... )

I can't believe I'll be on a plane in about 4 hours heading to Cairo, Egypt. Its amazing and scary and nerve-racking all in one joyous bundle. I can't wait to go and yet I'm terribly sad that I'm leaving for any amount of time ( Read more... )
