For years, I’ve pre-ordered every new Ubisoft title from Funcoland, and I’ve appreciated the accompanying swag, particularly the rammed-edition Pit key chain. Why do I have to ask Windows permission to use the product I legally own, especially when they've already given me permission? 

Nothing like realizing that the check you just mailed off is going to leave you with no money for rent.
Or, you know, any of the other monumental costs involved with moving to a new house.
